For our client, an international investment company, we are looking for a:

Investment Manager (FinTech & Digital Finance) (m/f) 100%

Primary location: London (preferred) or Cyprus (relocation options available)

Division: Asset & Wealth Management

About the Role:

The Investment Manager / Associate (FinTech & Digital Finance) will be responsible for the comprehensive analysis, evaluation, and structuring of FinTech projects considered for investment or acquisition. This includes conducting full-scope due diligence, building financial models, assessing business and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, and preparing analytical materials and investment proposals for the Investment Committee and shareholders. The role covers projects in key markets including the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Switzerland, UAE, USA, as well as emerging markets with strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full-cycle investment analysis of FinTech projects, including PSPs, EMIs, Open Banking, Blockchain, and Digital Payments.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models, including scenario, sensitivity, and comparative analyses (DCF, multiples, precedent transactions).
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and recommendations for the Investment Committee and shareholders.
  • Participate in financial, legal, and operational due diligence with internal and external experts.
  • Perform market and competitive analysis across target countries and emerging markets.
  • Assess strategic fit, scalability, and synergies of potential investments with the Group’s strategy.
  • Support deal structuring, negotiations, and execution in coordination with legal, finance, and compliance teams.
  • Coordinate collaboration with external advisors, including investment banks, law firms, consulting firms, and auditors.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and prepare reports on key financial and operational KPIs.
  • Conduct post-investment analysis to identify value creation drivers and optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the Group’s FinTech investment strategy and monitor technological trends in digital finance.

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline from a leading university.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance. Experience with FinTech projects is a strong advantage.
  • Strong command of financial modeling, business valuation methodologies, and investment scenario analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess financial, regulatory, and operational risks.
  • Solid knowledge of key FinTech business models (PSP, EMI, Open Banking, Blockchain, Digital Payments).
  • Understanding of regulatory and licensing frameworks for FinTech operations internationally.
  • Basic understanding of IT architecture and digital platform design within the financial technology sector is an advantage.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • High professional ethics, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset linking financial and technological perspectives.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, proactive and structured, able to perform effectively in a dynamic international environment.
