For our client, a UHNW family in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for:
Head Housekeeper (m/f/d) 100%
Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping in accordance with the applicable service standards
- Working with the wardrobes and luxury clothes
- Organisation and monitoring of staff performance across the household
- Liaising with the Principal’s personal GP to ensure that the facilities are stocked with medical supplies and all necessary items
- Training, onboarding, and orientation of the new employees (maids, laundry maid)
- Quality control during routine and general cleanings, checking the equipment of the facility for compliance with the applicable standards
- Making shopping lists to purchase required goods
- Participation in organising staff rotas
- Working as a maid when and if required
- Combining the functions of the Catering Manager during his/her temporary absence
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of working with luxury clothes
- Experience in housekeeping, ideally as a Housekeeper for a family
- Computer literacy
- Driving licence is preferable
- Stress-resilience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in personnel management
- Team-player
- Service-oriented
- Fluent Russian, as well as fluent French or English language skills
- Willingness to travel to France occasionally for short visits
- EU/EFTA-passport or a valid work permit (C or B) for Switzerland
