For our client, an international trading company in the canton Zug, we are looking for:

Finance Manager (m/f/d) 60-80% (Canton Zug or Zurich)

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of accounting, controlling, financial accounting and payments, inclusive:

  • Manage and verify payroll processing.
  • Maintain smooth daily banking interactions, including transactions, collections, and letters of credit (LC) management.
  • Social security administration, interact with insurance companies and tax authorities.
  • Collaborate on preparing tax reports and VAT settlements.
  • Assist the accounting team with processing tasks, particularly at month-end close and as needed.
  • Contribute to external audits.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including accounts receivable/payable management.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures and related taxation
  • Flexible, responsible, independent and a team player
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Bexio is an advantage)
  • Good communication skills in German and English are essential
  • EU/EFTA-passport or a valid work permit (C or B) for Switzerland
