For our client, an international trading company in the canton Zug, we are looking for:
Accountant (m/f/d) 40-60% (Canton Zug or Zurich)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records per Swiss GAAP standards.
- Prepare financial statements, handle payroll, calculate taxes, and ensure compliance.
- Assist with daily accounting tasks and payment execution.
- Supervise accounting/reporting.
- Utilize accounting software (BEXIO).
- Organizes office operations and maintains records.
- Prepare financial reports, and represent the finance department to banks and counterparties.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding and demonstrated expertise in Swiss GAAP, bookkeeping, payroll, social contributions calculations, and tax reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software BEXIO.
- Advanced user of MS Office.
- Hands-on execution skills.
- Fluency in German (native level) and English.
- EU/EFTA-passport or a valid work permit (C or B) for Switzerland.
